Uniaxial Geogrids

GRM-GRID is Geogrids represent a rapidly growing segment within
geosynthetics. Geogrids are polymers formed into a very open, is manufactured
from Polypropylene (PP) or Hidh Density Polyethylene (HDPE), grid like
configuration, i.e., they have large apertures between individual ribs in the transverse
and longitudinal directions.

Geogrids are either stretched in one or two directions for improved physical properties,
made on weaving or knitting machinery by standard manufacturing methods, or by bonding
rods or straps together.

There are many specific application areas, however, they function almost exclusively as
reinforcement materials.

The latest development in stiff polymer geogrid manufacture is based on an isosceles
triangular aperture, produced by a new manufacturing technique from a punched then
stertched polymer sheet.
