Nonwoven geotextiles have a wide range of application in civil
environmental engineering and construction projects. Their uses include :
- Filtration of soils in drainage applications by retaining soil particles while allowing
- for the free flow of water.
- Sepatation and stabilization in road and railway construction.
- Prevention of soil movement in erosion control measures.
- Cushioning and protection in many containment projects.
Produced from high quality Polyester and polypropylene fibres, GURAMAtex
Nonwoven Geotextiles are needle punched to form a strong fabric that retains its
dimensional stability and is resistant to damage from construction stesses.
GURAMAtex Nonwoven Geotextiles are available in varying strengths and
thicknesses to ensure appopriate material selection for your project.
Custom roll sizes are also available.

Application
1. Subsurface Drainage
Nonwoven made by needle-punched bonding system is very suitable and ideal to
be used in subsurface drainage system. When used as blacket at stream of under
surface / subsurface drain, hence land transfer into stream can be controlled
effectively.
2. Winnow and Buffer Membrane
Use Nonwoven as winnow coat ( separator layer ) will lengthen the long term age at
road’s construction project and road of the reel above soft land and also saturated
irrigate by preventing transfer aggregate at road’s construction and hoard ballast at
road reel and also guarantee the stream freedom.
3. Controlling the Erosion of Coastal And also Fluvial
Exploiting Nonwoven as sandbag or combined with the angular big stones and
rock (rip rap) will give the control to erosion and bevel stability by preventing
under land layer
