GEOTUBE

Raw Material: PP Geotube are sewn Polypropelen (PP) woven long fiber geotextile.
Benefits: Relatively low cost, defense to seasonal erosion, easily removed.
Applications: Geotube are used to from shoreline structure including form temporary
breakwaters, headlands, revetments on sand beaches of seashore.
Installation for PP Geotube:

• Filling sand or sludge into PP Geotube: Need higher pressure water syringe andmud pump. Firstly, start the water syringe to blow up the sand or sludge into themud pump, then push into geotube by mud pump.
• Water drainage: PP geotube is made of PP long fiber geotextile by woven. Manysmall hole in the geotextile, so the water can be drained from the sludge, sand,other solid material, but the solid material can be trapped in the geotube. Thegeotube can be filled and drained several times. Usually, the solid material up to70% of total geotube volume is enough.
• -After several times of filling and drainage, the sand, sludge and other solidmaterial inside geotube is concreted slowly by degrees because of desiccation.
